Good God. One of the things that Western democracies have going for them is that elections don't result in people on the 'losing' side (and their families) aren't hurt or killed. Sad that someone was son afraid he decided to wipe out his family himself.

I'm not surprised by this, if someone is having some mental problems then the hate, fear and lies the right preaches nonstop could be enough to push them over the edge.

Well I really didn't want to make it about "the right" as I think this guy was just crazy. I mean, crazy is crazy and all kinds of shit set these people off. Not sure why so many seem to need to take their family with them.

"Man Kills Family and Himself Over Fear Obama Would Be Re-Elected"

It's hard not to equate it with the far right fear mongering.

This is pointless...the man was clearly mentally ill, and there's no sense to be found in it...but I keep thinking, well, why not at least wait and see if he's reelected or not?

From the article, this guy had a long history of mental illness. His father committed suicide when he was young, which would traumatize anyone. Then his mother died, which apparently nearly drove this guy to kill himself back then. Add a recent suicide by an uncle and whatever mental issues this guy had just got to be too much.

This is the most insane thing. FOX news has made people on edge even edgier.

Sure is hard to equate it for me. Fear mongering might affect a "sane" persons vote or bias but it damn sure doesn't make them kill their family.
